3. 1 Corinthians 14:5 I would that ye all
spake with tongues, but rather that ye
prophesied: for greater is he that
prophesieth than he that speaketh with
tongues, except he interpret, that the
church may receive edifying.

7. • 1 Corinthians 14:29-33 Let the prophets speak
two or three, and let the other judge. If any
thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let
the first hold his peace. For ye may all
prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and
all may be comforted. And the spirits of the
prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is
not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in
all churches of the saints.
12. • 1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself
to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him
acknowledge (become fully acquainted with),
that the things that I write unto you are the
commandments (authoritative prescription) of
the Lord.
14. • 1 Corinthians 14:39-40 Wherefore, brethren,
covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with
tongues. Let all things be done decently and in
order.
16. HOMEWORK
Use your gift to prophetically discern your
spiritual gathering this week. Use where you go
to be fed or worship as the source. It can also
be a virtual service, if that is where you normally
get your spiritual deposits weekly. I want you to
discern the atmosphere, the meeting, the
prophesied word released or not. If it was
according to 1st Corinthians 14th Chapter. Was
the prescription adhered to, altered, ignored or
not. Discern why it was or was not.
