Sometime back I was invited by bunch of my colleagues to speak on a topic of my choice.
I gave some thought and decided to share my views and experiences on how we could better manage the Project resources we often work with as this is often a challenge for Project Managers.

• Meet In Person
• If above not possible due to different Geos, Cities
try Video Call.
• If Video call not possible, use Phone or ST.
• Only in the last must email communication be
used.
• Try to communicate only during office hours. You
might be a workaholic not your customer/
resource.
• If the other person sounds busy ask them when
you could reach them at “their” convenient time
or to reach you at “their” convenient time.
• Small treat even a cup of Coffee/ Tea or snacks can
make a huge difference. Remember you need
them to get the work done.
• DO NOT ESCALATE unless all other modes of
communication fails.
