4. Division Memo # 227 s. 2022 dated July 27,
2022
• Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 034, s.2022. titled “School Calendar and
Activities for the School Year 2022-2023”, the implementation of
Brigada Eskwela Program shall be from August 1-26, 2022.
• Brigada Eskwela is a school maintenance program nationwide that
engages all the responsive education stakeholders to contribute their
time, efforts and resources in ensuring that all public schools are
ready for the opening of the face-to-face classes this coming School
Year 2022-2023.
5. • This year’s theme is “Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na
Balik-Aral”. The National Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program shall be
held on August 01, 2022 to be hosted by Region IV-A CALABARZON.
• The Regional Brigada Eskwela Kick-off shall be held on August 02,
2022 at 9:00 am onwards to be hosted by Schools Division Office of
Tarlac Province which shall be broadcast live via Official Facebook
page of DepEd Region III. Simultaneously, SDO Nueva Ecija shall hold
its Division Kick-off to be hosted by San Ricardo National High
School, San Ricardo, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
6. • Attendees to the Division Kick-Off shall be limited to Talavera South
SDO Annex PSDS, Monitoring Supervisors and LGU officials. Strict
health protocols must be observed at all times.
7. The 2022 Brigada Eskwela implementation
shall focus on the following.
a) Implementation of the year-round schools’ maintenance and
repair activities, which include the provision of the immediate
needs during disaster or calamities, and the addressing of
resource gaps during the reopening of the face to face classes;
b) Strengthened partnership engagements with partners and
stakeholders that complement DepEd’s efforts to ensure quality
basic education;
8. The 2022 Brigada Eskwela implementation
shall focus on the following.
c) Achievement of significant goals which shall contribute to
increasing students’ participation rate, reducing drop-outs and
helping improve learning for both learners and community; and
d) Creation of a network of community-based organization to get total
community commitment for collaborative programs and projects
including the Brigada Pagbasa and other support and
volunteer/community-based projects.
9. • In connection with the schedule of Brigada Eskwela 2022, teachers
are not required to report physically to their respective school from
August 01 to 12, 2022. They shall only be required to report
physically at school starting August 15, 2022 onwards in preparation
for the opening of classes on August 22, 2022. The following are the
schedules to be followed during the conduct of Brigada Eskwela
related activities and the conduct of enrolment:
10. • Elementary Schools: For small and medium schools, the school head
and one or two teachers in alternate schedule will be required to
report in school physically to do Brigada Eskwela activities and will
facilitate the enrollment; for large and mega schools, the school head
and other non-teaching personnel (ADAS/AO) are required to report
physically and facilitate the enrolment and do Brigada Eskwela
activities.
11. • Secondary Schools: For secondary schools which do not have
department heads, the school head, other non-teaching personnel,
and two teachers in alternate schedule are required to report to
school physically and will facilitate the enrollment. Other schools that
have department heads, the Principal, Head Teachers and other non-
teaching personnel are required to report physically and facilitate the
enrollment and do Brigada Eskwela activities.
12. Monitoring of BE Implementation
• Regional Monitoring Team shall visit schools in SDO Nueva Ecija,
especially those Hall of Famers.
• Final list still to be announced by the region.
13. DepEd Partnership Database System (DPDS)
• Must be done monthly. Deadline is every 6th day of the following
month
