About Unilever
 Unilever was established in 1930 by the merger of the
operations of British soap maker Lever Brothers.
 Unilever is an Anglo-Dutch multinational corporation
that owns many of the world's consumer brands
product in foods, beverages, cleaning and personal care
products.
Unilever in Bangladesh
 In 1964, the first Manufacturing Operations were set
up as a part of Lever Brothers Pakistan.
 Over the last four decades, Unilever Bangladesh has been
constantly bringing new and world-class products for the
Bangladeshi people. Over 90% of the country’s households
use one or more unilever products.

Unilever Operations in Bangladesh provide employment
to over 10,000 people directly and through its dedicated
suppliers, distributors and service providers…
99.5% of UBL employees are locals and we have equal
number of Bangladeshis working abroad in other Unilever

RECRUITMENT Process
 Recruiting is the process of finding & attracting
capable applicants for employment.
 The process begins when new recruits are
required & ends when their applications are
submitted.
 The result is a pool of applicants from which
new employees are selected.
Recruitment Process of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd.
Step-1: In this step they asses the need of new employee for the
organization. And make the plan for Recruitment.
Step-2: Then they announce job vacancy circulation. Through->
Website, Newspaper and electronic media.
Step-3: Receives Application from Applicants.
Step-4: Analysis of the received CV
Step-5: Finally they call the eligible Applicants for Interview.
