Art has worked with BravePoint for years on different contracts for clients. He has also done contracting work on his
own. Here is a list of the contracts/jobs he has been on.
Contract Programmer – Visteon – Detroit, MI 2/08-2/09
Part of the data migration team that converted CMMS data, QAD V8.5, QAD V9.1 and other systems to QAD EB2.1
SP5 MFG/Pro. Process used the CIM interface, direct input and manual entry. I extracted data from the legacy
MFG/Pro systems, formatted the data using Excel and imported the data into the new MFG/Pro system. For the non-
QAD systems data was extracted using various system tools where I then reformatted the data for use.
Contract Programmer – Tiger Poly – Columbus, OH 11/07-12/07
I reviewed and updated app. 100 custom programs for conversion to QAD EB2.1 to use the domain feature. In addition,
I modified the reporting logic to speed up the reporting process, to enhance report input selections and modified several
reports to work on the .NET environment.
Contract Programmer - Iron Mountain – Collegeville, PA 3/07–10/07
Part of a development team that designed, created and implemented a new release of the company’s document storage
and retention system. Specifically, we automated the billing process so the driver, upon pickup or delivery of a box,
initiates the billing process after scanning a barcode. As part of the process, new reports and maintenance screens were
required. The automated process involved different currencies and multiple databases. These modifications streamlined
the billing process and significantly reduced billing errors.
Development Services Group Manager - Safety Components International – Greenville, SC 1/06–12/06
Created a Development Service Group for SCI. SCI is a Tier1/Tier2 supplier of automotive air bags and air bag
modules. SCI had previously determined to use QAD’s eB2 for their ERP needs. I developed a shared services module
utilizing developers in 4 countries to handle all development needs using both Progress and Cyber Query tools.
Designed SOX compliance policies and initiated source and version control systems. Another major project was the
Global Traceability System design and project plans involving facilities at 13 facilities in 7 countries.
Contract Programmer Analyst – Safety Components International – Greenville, SC 4/05–12/05
Developed reports using Cyber Query. Analyzed the current implementation of QAD’s ERP package. Implemented
standards in multiple languages in preparing for a BI tool.

nature of the IBM database and using the Gateway, we had to develop reports and screens that relied mostly on string
and sub string programming.
Self-Employed - Delta2, Ltd. – Rome, GA 9/91-10/93
Developed an accounting application designed specifically for General Contractors and Subcontractors, with a strong
emphasis on Job Costing. This application included Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger,

against its own standards. These applications were written in Progress V6 to run on UNIX, Windows or DOS.
Self-Employed - Delta Square, Inc. – Rome, GA 6/85-9/91
Designed and developed a stand-alone micro terminal (DCT-10) that monitored the data entry process of both machines
and operators on a 7x24 real time basis. This system provided management with the tools necessary to increase
productivity, increase quality and reduces keying errors and operations cost. The function of the DCT-10 is to
determine keyboard keystrokes, track the work activity, time and who is doing it and then transmit the data to a PC for
data analysis and reporting. The DCT-10 effectively measured an operator’s production against company standards and
determined actual machine usage and down time. Additionally, it determined operator and machine performance,
utilization, productivity and quality of work. Designed and developed a Local Area Network and a LAN Controller,
which accommodated more than 200 nodes one a single network. At the time, 31 nodes were considered the norm. This
Windows application was developed using Fox Base+ and Basic.

A Work Measurement System using Keystrokes, Items processed & Time. The data collected fed an incentive pay
system. The system is designed around the DCT-10 (Data Collection Terminal), the PCLC (Protocol Converter LAN
Controller) Local Area Network and a PC. The DCT-10 is connected to the machine being monitored and
communicates the data collected to a PC via the PCLC LAN. The PC saves the data in a database used by various
reporting tools. The DCT-10 terminal was designed to connect to and monitor various machines used in the banking
industry. The PCLC was designed to network up to 256 DCT-10 terminals in a real time environment.
