We know that power plays and mind games are often played between people, and we tend to fall prey to them more often than not.
One of the problems is we do NOT know how to RECOGNIZE when we are being power played or a mind game being used against us. Sometimes, its very difficult to know when you are being power played because it is not obvious.
In this presentation, learn three of red flags or signals that suggest you are being power played.
To learn more red flags or learn how to defend yourself from devious power plays and mind games and protect your personal boundaries, read "People Games" by Min Liu, available at Amazon.com.

SCHOPENHAUER RECOGNIZED THIS
PROBLEM:
5. “It would be a very good thing if every trick
could receive some short and obviously
appropriate name so that when a man uses
this or that particular trick, he could at once
be reproved for it.”
-Arthur Schopenhauer

12. AVOIDANCE BEHAVIORS
If you find yourself avoiding certain people, bringing up
difficult topics with that person, or avoiding confrontation
with him/her, you may be getting power played by that
person.
14. ACTING INCONSISTENT
If you find yourself acting inconsistently with your own
values, ethics, desires, beliefs, and internal compass
when it comes to your dealings with a specific person,
you may be getting power played by that person.
16. POOR TREATMENT
This is a general sign, but you find yourself taking on
work responsibilities that you really shouldn't have to.
You receive poor treatment from service providers,
government personnel, shop keepers, and others, and
you feel "bad" about complaining. Or, you allow others in
your life to treat you unfairly.
If this happens frequently, you are probably being power
played in some way by the relevant person.
