3. Facebook I used Facebook to get feedback on
my products from my peers. As I have used
Facebook for several years, I found it extremely
easy to upload or create hyper-links to my products.
Microsoft Word I used Word to type up my analysis and
development whilst offline, and create my risk
assessment. Once again the tools were clearly labelled
and easy to fin and use.
Adobe Première Pro Unlike most of my other software I was not
familiar with Adobe Première Pro. To get used to the software I used
my trial of shots to practice using it and explore the
tools on offer. I also used Help websites to learn
specialised techniques and how to do certain things.
These were extremely helpful and allowed me to
further my skills. Although it was difficult to use, and
I still don't know how to certain things, it is very
useful and is professional standard software.

4. Adobe Photoshop CS4 I only have CS4 on my
home computer and this is where I did all my photo
editing. As I used this software for all my products
last year, I was familiar with the programme and
knew how to do certain things to manipulate my
image. However as the programme has a variety
of tools there are still some techniques I had to
research how to do. Overall I felt it really assisted
me in creating my poster and magazine, and was
fairly simple to use.
Windows Live Movie Maker As I couldn't import
music into première pro because my computer
wasn't big enough. This is quite a basic programme
and does not have all the 'tricks' première pro does.
However it was easy to add the music to my trailer,
and it allowed me to do all the things I needed to do
to the music.
Nikon Coolpix S6100 This camera was very high
quality for the photographs and still kept a good
quality for the video. It was easy to upload on to the
computer, and had pre settings for different locations
and time of day. I feel this camera is easy to use and
produces a good quality when shooting.

5. Ipad As I use the Ipad everyday as my computer
I am very familiar with apps. I used the Ipad to
download apps which allowed me to draw and
edit. I found the free apps extremely useful and
easy to use.
SketchBook X I used this app to create my
storyboard, it was very simple to use and gave
an effective quality. I feel using it allowed me to show my
drawings without using stick men.
Paint I used paint to crop and edit my feedback and
print screens. I only used the crop tool and used
some boxes to cover peoples names. Both these
tools were really easy to use and obviously placed
on the toolbar. I feel this is a good and simple
programme to use, however I could not edit
pictures as well as photoshop as it does not have
any professional and specialised tools.

6. Cute CUT Last year I used a app to edit my evaluation
video, I tried to use it again this year but it kept crashing.
I then search the app store for a different app that
I could use. I found Cute CUT, and have found it much
easier to use and it also has more creative tools to
make my video good. I feel this is a very good app
especially as it is free to download.
SlideShare.com/Libre Office Impress I am using
slide share to upload my presentations created in
libre office impress. Slideshare is simple and easy to
hyper-link to other website, like wordpress. Libre
Office impress is a simple programme in which it
already has templates which you can fill in, or you
can design your own layout. I feel these combine are
a great way to make my blog more interactive and
visual.
Prezzi.com I've used Prezi.com to create a virtual
presentation of one of the evaluation questions. It
has preset templates, which are easy to cutomise
and adapt to you personal preference and needs. Its
a very visual and creative programme to use and helps
make presentaions more fun.

7. Wordpress This is my second year using Wordpress
so I am familiar with the tools and features it contains.
However they have recently update the website to
allow a smoother process to blogging. They have also
made it easier to insert media and the tools are clearly
placed on the tool bar, so you don't have to go hunting
for them. The themes of the blog itself allow me to show my blog in the
most convenient way, you can have picture blogs, writing blogs and
mixtures of both. I feel I am a lot more skilled at using it this year, and
have furthered my knowledge into how to make the blog more exciting and
show the content in different ways.
Acer Aspire 5532 My main computer used was my home computer.
As it is only 32-bit some of the programmes I
used were sometime a bit slow and could
freeze. Apart from that it was good to use and
handy to carry around and work anywhere
rather than just at a desk. I was able to access
the internet and use all the programmes on this
machine ( other than the apps). It was a very useful piece of technology
and is what most of my work was done on, it was easy to use and as it is
my home computer I knew exactly how to use it.

8. How it effected
my products
The technology I used allowed me to create more professional
standard pieces as well as develop my skills in using different
technologies. My products are easily comparable to real media
products as I have used similar programmes of the same standard.
Some of my technology is not as elaborate as I wished such as the
camera, the computer and I also didn't have access to things such
as a green screen.
Although I didn’t have access to a lot of professional standard
technology, I feel my use of the technology I did have access to was
very broad and creative. My products are still of a good standard
although I didn’t have access to this technology.
