20. •Q-What If the prayer started before the
journey?
If a person is in his place of dwelling he should
offer the full prayer as long as:
He is in his area or home location
21. A person can begin to shorten his
prayer once:
His journey has started
He is no more in his place of dwelling
22. •A resident can offer his prayers behind
an Imam who is a traveler; the imam has
to inform the people though.
•A traveler has to offer his prayers in full
behind a resident Imam
23. •Order of the prayers should be maintained
•The intention should be there to join the
prayers before joining them
•Offered consecutively without pause
24. •A traveler can shorten his
prayers until he returns home
Unless he is going to stay out for
more than four days
25. •One should intend to combine his
prayers at the time of the first
prayer; if failed to do so, then the
first prayer is performed as Qadhaa
and one is susceptible to sin for not
praying it on time
26. The trip should be at least 81 km
Destination should be known
Travel should not be for disobeying Allaah
27. Joining prayers
•During rain, one should join the prayers in
the first time
•One should not delay it till the 2nd prayer’s
time, because the rain could stop
28. Friday
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that Allah’s
Messenger (PBUH) said, “The best day on which
the sun rises is Friday; on it Adam (AS) was
created; and on it, he descended on earth; and on
it, his repentance was accepted; and on it, he
died; and on it, the Hour will be established…..”
30. Other conditions:
•Must be held in a dwelling community; at least
40 people
Prayer of those in desert or villagers isn’t
considered Friday
•Should be performed at the time of Zuhr prayer
•Prayer should be held in one place in a town
31. Two integrals of Friday prayer
1- 2 sermons with gap (standing)
2- Sermons should be during the time of
Zuhr prayer
3-Must be in Arabic
4-Delivered in Purity
