Motor Vehicle Industry Tools and Assembly Systems division markets handheld electric and pneumatic tools, assembly systems, software solutions and services to the automotive industry worldwide. Industrial Assembly Solutions division markets adhesive solutions and self-pierce riveting to the automotive and general industries worldwide. The solutions are marketed under the SCA and Henrob brands and have their main facilities in Germany, the U.S. and the U.K. Divisional headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

Industrial Technique’s production facilities can be found in more than ten locations across the globe, from the U.S to Japan.
The main plant for the Atlas Copco branded products is located in Tierp, Sweden. The plant has a state-of-the-art production flow and has implemented lean production principles.

Detroit, USA / Sao Paolo, Brazil / Essen, Germany / Pune, India / and Shanghai, China.
The application centers offer custom and standard solutions as well as global project management for multinational customers.
14. Daily direct deliveries – worldwide!
Power Tools Distribution (PTD) is strategically located in Hoeselt, Belgium, serving 170 countries across the globe.
The current warehouse, which has recently been expanded to some 30 000 square meters, aims at constantly shortening lead times to achieve fast and reliable deliveries. The distribution center has a web-based order tracking system and delivery performance is 98%.

Ergonomics means putting the operator first. In Atlas Copco we are always looking for new ways of designing tools with better ergonomics,
and ergonomics is a natural aspect of all product design already from the beginning.
Better power-to-weight ratios, reduced noise and vibration, better balance and the use of stronger and lighter material are some ways to accomplish this. We have extensive application know-how and have also published a book on the subject – Power Tool Ergonomics.
In Atlas Copco we believe that good ergonomics is a key to sustainable productivity.
