BEAN
DSI – 1556
DSI -1556 is an Earliserve type – Very Early. Maturity is 50
days. This variety is noted for very concentrated pod set high in
the plant. Plant height is 15” with the pod length of 4.5” x 1/2”.
Straight round pod slightly shorter than Slenderette. Sieve size 3-4.
Seed color is white. Disease resistance: CBMV Type 1 and N.Y.
Strain 15. It is an excellent yielder and an upright bush.
FIRSTMARK
Firstmark is an Early Landmark type – Very High Yielder. Maturity
is 49 days. Medium green pods that are 6.5-7” x 3/8”. Plant height
is 17” with pod sets high in the plant and very concentrated. Seed
color is white. Low in fiber. It is an excellent shipper and good for
fresh market. Disease resistance: CBMV Type 1 and N.Y. Strain 15.
KENTUCKYDREAMER
Kentucky Dreamer is an improved Bush Kentucky 125 type.
Maturity is 54 days. Pod is medium green, flat 6”x1/2”. Plant
height is 17” with pod sets high in the plant and very concentrated.
Seed color is white. Very upright plant. Low fiber. It is good for
fresh and shipper market. Disease resistance: CBMV Type 1 and
N.Y. Strain 15.
LANDSTAR
Landstar is a Landmark type. Maturity is 52 days. It is a much
darker green 6.5-7”x3/8” pod, plant height of 18” with low fiber.
Seed color is white. Good for machine harvesting. It is a very good
shipper and good for fresh market. Excellent Landmark flavor.
Disease resistance: CBMV Type 1 and N.Y. Strain 15.
SPEZIA
Spezia is an early bush Roma – Very Early. Maturity is 52 days.
Medium green stringless pods that are 6” with 4 to 5 seeds per
pod. Plant height is 17” with pod sets high in the plant and very
concentrated. Seed color is white. Excellent Romano flavor,
good for freezer and home garden trade.

CABBAGE
CELTIC – HYBRID
Newly bred and highly improved quality with large heads
weighing 2 kilos. Color is deep green. Matures in about 75-80
days after transplanting. High yielding, slow burst. Good for Fall
to Winter harvest. High tolerance to Cabbage Yellows and Black
Rot. Easy grower and strong against cold temperatures.
DYNAMO – HYBRID
Excellent newly bred early cabbage. Very nice medium sized dense,

ROYAL ROSE - HYBRID
A new early red hybrid cabbage for summer planting. It is a very

REGENT ROYALE - HYBRID
Large flat headed hybrid with heads weighing 1.8-2 kilos. Harvest

53-59 days. This succulent beauty, Golden Sunrise, has deep
golden stocks, midrib and veins. Shiny leaf is rich medium green and
lightly crumpled. Stock and midrib are thick, broad and very tender
and fleshy. Excellent golden color when young and holds color well
to maturity. Very productive. Height is 23-26 inches.

This variety is noted for very concentrated pod set high in the plant. Plant height is 15” with the pod length of 4.5” x 1/2”. Straight round pod slightly shorter than Slenderette. Sieve size 3-4. Seed color is white. Disease resistance: CBMV Type 1 and N.Y. Strain 15. It is an excellent yielder and an upright bush. FIRSTMARK Firstmark is an Early Landmark type – Very High Yielder. Maturity is 49 days. Medium green pods that are 6.5-7” x 3/8”. Plant height is 17” with pod sets high in the plant and very concentrated. Seed color is white. Low in fiber.
