Our foundation provides financial gifts to select U.S.-based organizations
located in the communities where we have a presence. Each year, we
distribute millions of dollars in grants.

Each year, we distribute millions of dollars in grants. Focus Areas Higher Education Arts & Culture Health & Social Services We have a particular interest in Foundation support of programs within the Milwaukee neighborhood adjacent to our Corporate Headquarters, so as to change the trajectory of lives in this neighborhood. Matching Gift Program Provides Johnson Controls employees and retirees the opportunity to have their financial gifts to arts and higher learning institutions matched from the Foundation.​ Scholarship Program Awards college scholarships to selected children of Johnson Controls employees as a way to encourage and support higher education.

Support Sales Teams: Strategize to win business using our portfolio of diverse- owned firms and report diversity purchasing performance quarterly internally and externally. Support Procurement Teams: Assist departments with identifying qualified diverse suppliers, maintain database of certified diverse suppliers and maintain supplier diversity certification records.   • 17. Global Government Relations We will support our business growth by educating government policy makers on Johnson Controls and our industries and advocate for policies to create market opportunities through positive public policy initiatives and to protect our business interests.

Latin America • Create opportunities and protect interests of Johnson Controls in key Latin American countries, based on strategy and external analysis. • Work with federal and state governments, congresses, and external institutions and organizations to carry out agreed-upon business strategy in accordance with Johnson Controls values and code of ethics.
