2. Aegis
“The Aegis (also written egis) was the mantle and shield of Zeus, for even the
king of the gods needed protection in his war with the Titans. Zeus lent the
aegis to his daughter Athena (Athene) when she fought on the side of the
Greeks in the Trojan War. Homer describes it as a kind of cloak. Whether it
was a cloak or a shield, it undoubtedly had protective powers, since on it
were serpents and the head of a Gorgon, which turned those who looked at it
into stone.”
Arthur Daley, Sports Columnist
The New York Times
“Our mission is to provide a knowledge shield to the Indian corporate by
offering world-class education, training, consultancy and research.”

24. “Telecom management program has helped me to accelerate my career
growth.
I can very well assess the impact, which Aegis School of
Telecommunication is going to create on the Indian Telecom Sector and
the world Telecom Industry as a whole.
As a corporate I have to recruit both managers and technical people
separately. But when I have to depute people for the project, at present I
am obliged to depute two persons separately. This is the biggest limitation
for any technological company. If we can have one person who can do
both things efficiently then this will be a value addition to the person and
that's where Aegis will fill in the gap.”
