Disaster preparedness measures
The collection salvage measures are therefore based around
the fact that the organisation is large, unique, multi-sited and
may be affected by any number of scenarios, both large
and small.
The Library defines a collection salvage incident as ‘any
situation that leads to a risk of damage or loss to the
collections of the British Library’
