• UC-Chile signed an agreement with Coursera
to create courses in Spanish
• Engineering School supported five courses
• We applied on December 2014
• We prepared the content between march and
August 2015
• 6 week course (2-3 hours per week)
• Course was launched on October 6, 2015

– Characteristics of transportation systems
• Week 2-3: Introducción a los modelos de demanda

• MOOCs provide an interesting opportunity to
reach a huge audience around the globe
• Users welcome the chance to access the
content
• Content can be re-used to create new courses
and in class courses (flip class room)
