4. WP5 IWC - First Building Block
• TIE has come up with a prototype, based on
publish subscribe (pub-sub) IWC approach in
Apache Shindig which is later migrated to
Apache Rave.
• This is being the first step for “Omelette
widgets functionality orchestration” in WP5
• The set of widgets shown in the prototype (as
PoC), can communicate with each other when
they are subscribed.

• The Automatic Composition based on JBOSS
Drools is an approach towards Dialog Driven
Automatic composition.
• The mashup user is asked with a set of generic
and specific questions identifying his needs.
• These needs are mapped with different
information and then it tries to find out the
functionalities that fit with this information
• Which in turn tries to reach a final goal (In this
case a mashup)

• We have covered the Emergency Cockpit scenario
here.
• Where the user is asked which type of
information she is looking for.
• Does she want to communicate, if yes which type
of communication tool.
• Does she want to collaborate, if yes which type of
collaboration tool.
• Is she looking for anything else, if not then
compose the workspace (create a mashup) as per
user input.

Omelette Mashup can be use effectively.
