**If you advance your slides too quickly, the program may get stuck ** Please Read:
This slideshow presentation has been created for you in collaboration with The Bead Gallery, Honolulu, where you can buy all your beading supplies for this project. Feel free to take a screen shot and print the graph (slide 3) to make it easier to follow along with the tutorial.
The step by step instructions will show you the thread path to complete this cute Musubi pattern. This is a great beginner project because it teaches you the basics of brick stitch bead weaving using larger size 8 beads. You can substitute the beads to the more common Miyuki Delica 11/0 size beads, using 6lb Fireline with a size 12 beading needle.
Some of the beadweaving stitches have been modified specifically for this project so it may be different from other tutorials you have viewed. Also, please note, when using size 8 beads, the tension may be a little loose on the ladder stitch row. Feel free to circle around the beads 2x to create a tighter stitch.
Have fun!
