media in the background. Users opt-in to take part in the data set by granting access to the microphone. This
app runs extremely efficient ‘in the background’ without compromising privacy, data or battery-impact.
• Negligible battery impact: The app is able to monitor 10 hours using less than 10% of the phone’s battery.
• Negligible data impact: 1 hour of content is compressed into 180KB and can be loaded to the app.
• Privacy safe: It only recognizes Fingerprinted content or channels. audio is never stored or exchanged.
In turn, users are incentivized depending on how many devices are granted permission. Incentives could be
