Founded in Napa Valley, California, in 2004, Bello Family Vineyards has produced several award-winning wines. The small, family-owned winery maintains an estate off Highway 29 in Rutherford. Michael Bello began the process of opening Bello Family Vineyards in 2000, when he purchased the estate. Today, he works alongside his son Christopher and winemaker Ross Wallace to produce high-quality wines. The winery’s focus is cabernet sauvignons. Many have received high Robert Parker and Stephen Tanzer ratings. Bello’s 2008 cabernet sauvignon received a Robert Parker rating of 92 points.
