 Benjamin Perlin is a Nashville-based photographer who
owns Ben Perlin Photography. Outside of his creative work,
Benjamin Perlin is a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity’s
ReStore.
Part home improvement store, part resale charity shop,
ReStore offers patrons new or lightly used merchandise at
prices under retail value, while the proceeds help fund
Habitat for Humanity’s charitable work.
Like most second-hand shops, it is hard to say what exactly
you will find when visiting your local ReStore, as the stock
can change daily

3. Habitat for Humanity's ReStore
 You can expect to browse building materials, appliances,
and used furniture, though many stores offer selections
beyond these categories. Nashville’s store has even sold an
airplane window.
ReStore acquires its varied and sometimes eclectic
merchandise through donations. The store accepts surplus
building material and merchandise otherwise headed to
the landfill, offering an easy and ethical way to dispose of
hard-to-trash items like your couch or washing machine.
ReStore accepts donations from both individuals and
businesses.
