Job Description: 1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.) Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.) Involve in giving user requirement meeting and understanding of system
functionality
5.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
6.)Involve in weekly project status update.
7.)Involve in New product launch and product enhancement testing.
7.)Involve in different type of batch triggering such as below:
-ILP Transaction batch trigger (Fund Top-up,Change apportionment and
Fund switch)
-Policy letter batch trigger(Endorsement letter and also all the policy
alteration letter)
-Batch trigger for transferring policyholder letter to ouput transfer platform.
-Batch trigger for generation for the SB/CB statement(Survival bonus/ cash
bonus)
Project handled: D2-2014
BIPS whole life plan project (Project release D2 2014)
This is a new product launch so as to be able to capture the insurance
industry market share. Its consists of four different plan types. 2 Product
plan types is of regular premium paying term whereas for the other two plan
types is of a limited premium paying term.
Involvement in the project
1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.) Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
5.)Involve in weekly project status update.
R2-2014
Supreme Education plan (Project release R2 2014)
Supreme education plan is basically a education endowment plan targeted
at the parent of the young kids. This is a new product launch first of it kind
for the Great Eastern. I am also directly involved in testing out the fund
closure for the Investment linked products as well during this release. I need
to do verification that the system is able to block any new subscription for
the fund that have been withdraw.
Involvement in the project
1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.)Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
6.)Involve in weekly project status update.
7.) Involve in giving user requirement meeting and understanding of system
functionality for the next release (Project release R1) at 2015.
D3-2014
Universal Life 10 (Project release D3 2014)
Universal Life 10 is basically a revamp of currently existing Universal Life
plan with a much enhanced higher interest rate for it New Money and
General Money. New Money is the inforcing Premium and General Money is
the Single Premium Topup.
Universal Life is a plan designed to cater for higher networth asset group of
customer for a higher return of interest and is a Single premium Plan as
well.
Withdrawal and name changes for Greatlink Fund
Tested for changes of Fund Name from one name to another new Fund
Name for the same fund code.
-Test for change of Fund Apportionment and it letter at UAT environment.
-Test for Fund Switch and it letter at UAT environment.
-Test for Fund Topu and it letter at UAT environment.
Tested for removal of Fund code from system to ensure that the removed
fund code no longer existing in system.

R3-2014 to R1-2015
Bravo Project(Project release R3 2014 To R1-2015)
Bravo Project is development of a new Form of ILP products which target
also to provide insurance protection with coverage on death, Total
Permanent Disablity and Terminal illness.
This is one of the biggest project that Great Eastern have successfully
launched to market and is a great hit.
This plan have two accounts, the protection account is structured as the
basic policy and the accumulation account is structured as a fully paid
regular premium investment rider.
Protection provide saving and Accumulation provide investment.
Thus this plan provide both the protection and investment element.
BIPS whole life plan project (Project Release R3-2014)
This Project is a modification of the BIPS whole life plan project released at
D2-2014. The modification part is the change of plan name and change of
commencement date.
Rationalization of Prestiege portfolio Fund(Project Release R3-2014)
Tested for removal of Fund code from system to ensure that the removed
fund code no longer existing in system.
Involvement in the project
1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.)Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
6.)Involve in weekly project status update.
D2-2015
Max-Retirement Flex(Project release D2-2015)
Max Retirement Flex is designed to meet the retirement needs of the mass
market at a more affordable rate. The customer age group targeted for this
plan is at aged between 35 to 50 who are able to set aside $6000 to
$12,000 per year for their retirement need.
This products consist of 8 different varieties with different terms and
premium with 8 different plan codes
Involvement in the project
1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.)Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
6.)Involve in weekly project status update.
7.)Involve in giving user requirement meeting and understanding of system
functionality for the next release (Project release R2) at 2015.
R2-2015
Prime-Retirement Flex(Project release R2-2015)
Prime-Retirement is similar to the earliest launched Max-Retirement Flex.
The only different is that it is launched in different tranches.
For the launched Max-Retirement Flex it is launched for the Agency side and
for the Prime –Retirement, it is launched for the BANCA side.
This products similarity consist of 8 different varieties with different terms
and premium with 8 different plan codes
3G project(Project release R2-2015)
This is a single prmium plan targeted at premier segment customer, which
allow for wealth accumulation and a gift of love and legacy for the future
generation. This products is launched at the request from the BANCA side for
more Single premium products.
SG50 Project(Project release R2-2015)
This is a products launches to mark the celebration for SG50.
This is a GIO Non-Partcipating Single Premium endowment plan and is
launched into the Agency and BANCA side but each with different plan codes.

2.)Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.

D3-2015
3G project-change of Commencement date(Project release D3-2015)
This is a continuation of project from 3G project earlier released. This project
occurred due to Management wanted to push forward the business launch
date for this plan and thus we need to re-test the commencement date
prtion.
Addition of 2 plan code to cater for reduced paid up plan (Project
release D3-2015)
This is parameter setup with additional of 2 more new plan codes. The main
purpose of this is to have a new plan code to replace the existing
endowment or life plan upon reduced paid up. As when Policyholder request
to perform reduced paid up to their existing plan. The plan code will be
replaced with the new reduced paid up plan code.
Lowering of Minimum SA for SelectedEndowment plan for Brunei
Region (Project release D3-2015)
This is a management decisionssssss to lower the Minimum SA for some of
the endowment plan for the Brunei region.

1.) Responsible in test data preparation, creating test data, test cases
scenario.
2.)Writing of test cases and preparing of test plan.
3.) Involve in mainly User Acceptance Testing(UAT)via the system of FPMS.
4.)Raising of defect to Business Analyst for issues followup via the system of
HPQC.
6.)Involve in weekly project status update.
R3-2015
Re-pricing of existing Products-Term plan(Project release R3-2015)
This products Will be re-launched due to the Term Repricing exercise so as
to ensure the competitiveness in the market. The targeted market for this
repricing exercise is the Mass Affluent.
Universal Life 10- changes (Project release R3 2015)
This is a modification from the earlier tested products for the Universal Life
10 at D3-2014. The main reason for re-tested of this products is due to the
changes of commencement date and the changes of interest rate in the New
money with a higher interest.
Changes in BIPS generation(Project release R3 2015)
This is an enhancement for the generation of the Benefit illustration
component. The main changes for this is that in the Benefit illustration
componenet there is a new column being added and the new column is
called the “Minimum death SA”.

This is one of the biggest project that Great Eastern have successfully launched to market and is a great hit. This plan have two accounts, the protection account is structured as the basic policy and the accumulation account is structured as a fully paid regular premium investment rider. Protection provide saving and Accumulation provide investment. Thus this plan provide both the protection and investment element. BIPS whole life plan project (Project Release R3-2014) This Project is a modification of the BIPS whole life plan project released at D2-2014. The modification part is the change of plan name and change of commencement date. The customer age group targeted for this plan is at aged between 35 to 50 who are able to set aside $6000 to $12,000 per year for their retirement need. Universal Life 10- changes (Project release R3 2015) This is a modification from the earlier tested products for the Universal Life 10 at D3-2014. The main reason for re-tested of this products is due to the changes of commencement date and the changes of interest rate in the New money with a higher interest. Changes in BIPS generation(Project release R3 2015) This is an enhancement for the generation of the Benefit illustration component.
