Beth Yoke, CAE, has served as Executive Director of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association, since 2004. At YALSA she has overseen the expansion of the organization, including the implementation of new initiatives such as the annual Young Adult Services Symposium and the Journal of Research on Libraries and Young Adults. Yoke also worked with the YALSA Board to expand the organization’s capacity by establishing a Leadership Endowment, forging corporate partnerships, and writing and obtaining several grants.
