3. Front cover
For the front cover I used an app called
blender to blend all of the pictures in
which I wished to use for the front cover. I
used pictures from each locations to give
an overall feel of what the music video
would be about. I then put this picture
into Photoshop and added the song title
to the picture in the font that has been
used throughout the merchandise such as
the magazine advert. I also added one line
of the song lyrics to the top right hand
corner to give the audience a better
connection to the song itself.
4. Back cover
The creation of the back cover was done
with a mixture of pictures from the bounce
bar and the all-star bowling lanes. These
were two of the locations which we used
within out music video. We chose to use
these two locations as they both had a very
unusual look to them as well as a party like
look. I used a blender app on my phone
which allowed me to select the pictures I
wanted and the amount of pictures I wanted
to use and then went on to selected which
format I wanted the pictures to blend into.
For this one I blended them in a square.
After doing this I then imported the picture
into fireworks, and changed the image size.
After doing I then went on to add in the text
which I needed these being the artists of the
song, the song title, who produced the video
as well as other little pieces.
5. Panel 1
For the first panel I thought I’d uses the first
location in the music video which was the
dry ski slopes. I used this location as one
instead of mixing all three together to give
the digipak a narrative which mirrors the
music video. I chose a variety of picture of
the events that took place as well as some
picture of the individuals that stared in the
video. For this I used the blender app again
however because I used more pictures I
used a bigger grid format which meant that
the picture would blend together more.
After doing this I completed the same
process as I did for the other sections
however I added some lyrics form the song
over the top of the picture because I
thought it would give the Pak more of a
chilled vibe.
6. Panel 2
For the second panel I used the same
process as I did for the first, however I used
a different location being the bowling alley.
I did this to again follow the narrative of
the music video. I used the same process
for this panel as I did for the first panel. I
again added writing to it to give it a good
look and to keep the theme of the writing
going across all the panels inside the
digipak.
7. Panel 3
Panel three was made in the same way
one and two were however again I
changed the location and I used photos
form the bounce bar, these consisting
of individual photos group photos and
location photos. The same process was
repeat for the end outcome of panel
three.
8. Panel 4
The creation of the fourth panel was done in a
similar way to the back cover by using pictures
from the bounce bar and the all-star bowling
lanes. I again used the blender app in the
same way as the back cover creation to create
this picture. After doing this I then imported
the picture into fireworks, and changed the
image size. After doing this I then thought I’d
add some more lyrics to this picture to
continue the theme throughout the digipak.
