PUBLIC AREAS
In high-traffic public areas, hand sanitizers and best practices for proper and
frequent cleaning are the best defense against the spread of infection. This minimizes
the spread of germs into and out of the facility.
PATIENT AREAS
In patient-specific areas, details are critical. In-room items like a bed rail or remote
should be properly cleaned utilizing recommended best practices and procedures.
STAFF AREAS
In employee-designated areas, proper cleaning of countertops, keyboards
and equipment are the driving forces behind preventing the transfer of virus
and bacteria.
SITE-BASED APPROACH
Healthy Measures is a comprehensive program that leverages an onsite analysis to help reduce the number of healthcare
acquired infections and improve patient satisfaction. By dividing the hospital environment into critical areas, test points
are easier to identify and manage. Findings in the analysis help to implement specific surface disinfection and hand hygiene
protocols and continuously monitor key test points to measure progress toward improvement.
Improve healthcare.
Measure progress.
See results.
Healthy Measures is designed to:
Engage key decision makers in a cooperative process to create a healthier
environment for patients, visitors and staff
Create a healthier environment to enhance patient satisfaction and facility reputation
Help reduce HAI occurrences associated with cleaning and hand hygiene
Implement best practices for surface disinfection and hand hygiene
Provide a disciplined means by which to measure continuous improvement

Healthy Measures®
helps combat against the spread
of infection resulting in better patient
and business outcomes.
Healthy Measures is a program designed to help protect your facility against HAI
related incidents by enforcing proper surface disinfection and hand hygiene.
Fewer infectious occurrences lead to a positive improvement in the overall health of
your hospital and increased patient satisfaction.
This results-driven program partners with hospitals to incorporate best practices
in surface disinfection and hand hygiene procedures in the fight against HAIs.
A scorecard based site analysis is conducted to provide information to guide a
review process. Once a baseline is established, a joint action plan is developed
and an implementation plan created. The result is a clear path toward continuous
improvement and an increased awareness of the importance of proper surface
disinfection and hand hygiene.
