MadRat Games, innovators of the world's first roll-up puzzle Madzzle, wanted to engage its Facebook audience in a contest on the occasion of Fathers' Day. The facebook community of MadRat mostly comprises of young parents, and the company sought to bond with them over a conversation about their kids, because all parents love to talk about their children. The contest had to fall into place with the brand's perception as the harbinger of a calmer, wiser, happier childhood. Campaign Idea: To meet these objectives, Boring Brands came up with the "SuperDad" contest. The idea was full of little quirks and a whole lot of feel-good factors. We started off with the basic concept that all fathers are superheroes in the eyes of their children. We asked the community what they thought was their "SuperDad Power": it could be a father bragging about his own mind-reading abilities, a mother posting about the multitasking skills of her child's father, or the audience posting about their own fathers.
