5. Example usage
Assume that John wants to boost his works on ProjectX
● step 1: set task
○ on start John - in BBB app - creates task ProjectX
○ in this task he sets 3 hourly rates - as in aside table
● step 2: work on the task
○ now John start works on the task
○ parallely John assess his time as
WORK, DISTR or LAZE (see assess rules on prev. slide)
○ depending on his activity - he earns or loses cash
● step 3: get award for earnings
○ John decides that when he’ll earn 500 USD in BBB app on the task
he’ll spent real 500 USD on real award - selected by him
○ vision of real award drives John to
■ do more WORK - to quicker earn for selected award
■ avoid DISTR-actions and LAZE-ing - to not lose cash
○ after reaching 500 USD in the app - John realizes his “super award” in real

6. Flow with natural boost
● when you do “the task” you can be stopped on many problems
● typical problems:
○ natural focus losses
○ laziness, low motivation
○ distractions - like internet, other tasks, ...
● solution:
○ people seek for reward and avoid punishment - it’s our natural and sensible behaviour
○ BBB app uses this nature to:
■ boost you to work - by nicely rewarding you for good job
■ discourage lazing - by severely punishing you for bad job
○ it naturally:
■ increases focus on work
■ decreases amount of “flow problems”

each your problem you can convert to “task to finish in BBB”

● in BBB - awards motivate you to work
award can be anything what you want/desire
● example awards:
○ new phone/camera/smart watch
○ weekend trip
○ non-material awards: sponsor studies for kids, neediests
● when you do “the task” - you earn or lose virtual cash
● later you exchange virtual cash to real awards (by yourself)
