 We are RollingDice Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
 Founded in May 2015 in Pune with the sole objective of
Innovation.
 Currently into Hardware, Firmware and Software
Development.
 Focused on Product Development towards making our
surrounding more smart.

4. HOME AUTOMATION
Home automation systems include the following
types of devices:
 Sensors (to measure or detect things like temperature, humidity, daylight or
motion.)
 Controllers (such as a PC or a dedicated home automation controller.)
 Actuators (such as motorized valves, light switches and motors.)
 Buses (for communication that can be wired or wireless.)
 Interfaces (for human-machine and/or machine-to-machine interaction.)

 Conceived, designed, developed and assembled at our office in
Pune.
 Master-Slave Architecture.
 Technologies used in Hardware : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low
Energy(BLE) , Zigbee, RS 485. Partnering with World leaders in
Wireless technology “Texas Instruments” and “Nordic
Semiconductors”.
 Zigbee protocol for greater range(up to 120 ft indoors and up to 1
mile in line of sight).
 Robust design and load balancing across important controllers
to extend life longevity.
 Data saved in secure cloud for better security and performance.
 Android Platform for greater reach.

through your mobile phone.
 You shall be able to automate your curtains and
your water sprinklers in a time based or a sensor
based manner.
 You shall be able to speak to your house and
command it to do anything.
 You shall be able to monitor energy consumption
of all your devices and hence take necessary steps
to reduce the energy footprint.

20. IMPACTS IN OUR DAILY LIFE
 You shall be receiving notifications about your
faulty appliance consuming excessive energy.
 DEFT is going to ask for your confirmation before
carrying out any task so that you approve its
decision.
 Light Sensors shall automatically turn on lights at
strategic places when you’re not home.
 Motion sensors shall be detecting your presence in
a room and is going to turn on ambient light for
you to do some necessary work.

21. IMPACTS IN OUR DAILY LIFE
 Temperature sensor is going to automatically
adjust your fan speed to give you the most
comfortable sleep.
 You can pre start any appliance before you’re home
: like you can turn on the AC while driving back
home, you can turn on the geyser while returning
home from your walk in the morning.
 DEFT is going to monitor your energy usage and is
going to suggest you ways to save energy.
 Light your home to your mood.

22. IMPACTS IN OUR DAILY LIFE
 You can switch to Manual Mode when you want to.
 You can integrate any BLE enabled or Zigbee
enabled device to DEFT for operation.
 Easy to use mobile and tablet interface in place of
your boring switches.

24. COMPETITORS AND OUR EDGE
We have a few competitors at our level but we have an
EDGE over them :
 We have manually operable MANUAL/AUTOMATED
Mode so that DEFT is never in the critical path of
anyone.
 Use of Triacs instead of Relays make DEFT more safe
to use.
 Optimal use of controllers to load balance the home
automation profile thus increasing the life of the
product

25. COMPETITORS AND OUR EDGE
 Use of high end main controller (NXP2387) to support
multiple applications.
 Use of Zigbee protocol which actually not only
increases the range(by speaking to each other) but also
can be used to integrate other third party appliance.
 Use of all major Wireless technologies so that there is
no change of Hardware in recent future.
 Using dedicated Tablet Server as the Intelligent device
so that we need not manually upgrade Firmware to
make our DEFT more intelligent.

26. ENHANCEMENTS IN THE PIPELINE
 We are planning to integrate Security systems to our
product.
 We are coming up with a more user voice friendly
engine for our mobile app which shall be seamlessly
interacting with the user.
 Our next version of mobile app shall be integrating
calendars, alarms and to-do list so that user have the
feeling of a personal assistant.
 Enhance our “Intelligent DEFT Rule Engine” for better
decision making.
 Integrate Music player to the tablet application so that
it can play music according to your mood.

27. FUTURE VISION
We at RollingDice realize that after Mobile Phones,
Home Automation is the “NEXT BIG THING” to hit us.
We are looking at a future where everything shall be
automated aimed at making our lives more and more
comfortable. We look to integrate all of your electronic
support to a central system and tie it to your home.
Your home shall be keeping track of where you are
going, will be reminding you events, shall be reading
out your morning news, shall be ordering your cab,
selecting your diet and ordering them.
We are looking at a “DREAM”. Be a part to realize it.
