Our objective in creating the new customized website is to provide
as many tools as possible to make ordering more convenient, more
immediate, and more efficient via the integrated product information.
In addition to the standard features, the new website’s Product Gallery allows you to first see
and become familiar with all standard HMD Kontro stock maintained by the Stock Depot in
Charlotte, NC. It is an electronic product catalog created for your convenience to demonstrate
which HMD Kontro product is best for your purpose.
You will find an inventory link on each product page that will reduce the need to phone or email,
leading to a speedy quote. Our HMD Kontro inventory is already on the Liquid Handling Equipment
website, but Channel Partners find it difficult to locate and therefore to use. This problem has
been eliminated thanks to the new stand-alone Stock Depot website.
There is a quick inquiry link for Return Authorizations to request evaluations and service repairs.
Our e-strategy is to provide streamlined service in handling your repairs.
The Stock Depot website has been engineered for future features as we receive your feedback.
Under consideration are the addition of a Serial Number Data Base, Parts Drawings, Pump
Dimensional Drawings, and more. Let us know what you would find helpful.

The Kontro Quarterly Salutes Callum Whyborne
Callum Whyborne, Applications Engineer, has been with HMD Kontro since July 2018.
He is passionate about his work because of its many diverse and sometimes unique
requirements.
Working alongside HMD Kontro professionals, Callum admires and respects the expertise
they bring to the challenging arena of applications. In addition, he appreciates his colleague’s
depth of knowledge that greatly adds to and enhances his own professional development.
Callum boasts that the answer to any product or process-related question is never out
of reach. As an added bonus, Callum brags that HMD Kontro employees both personally
and professionally are “simply the greatest” to work with.
The maxim that its people are what make a company successful rings true for Callum. He attributes his enthusiasm
and growth to the support of his manager and team members. He’s excited about his future at HMD, knowing
that his co-workers will be assets to his continual development. Callum gratefully exclaims, “I really do owe each
and every one of them a huge thank you!”
Outside the walls of HMD, Callum competes nationally in two-stroke go-karting (Rotax-max).
Go-karting (go-carting in the USA) is something he really enjoys and something he does
as often as possible. Racing go-karts since the age of 13,
Callum acknowledges that basically it’s in his blood. He also
enjoys cycling, via mountain bike or road bike, whenever the
opportunity presents itself.

GSP & GSA Pumps - At Dow Chemical in Pittsburg, CA, Flo-Line recently converted multiple HMD Kontro pumps
to dual containment in order to meet Dow’s new LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) requirements.
GSA Pumps - At Tesoro Refinery, Flo-Line replaced old Durco Pumps with their inconveniently-short-seal life of
six months with HMD Kontro GSA Pumps for an extremely satisfactory solution to a difficult Sulfuric Acid transfer
application.
CS Pumps - Flo-Line successfully replaced Adams Vegetable Oils’ Dean Hot Oil Pump with the HMD Kontro
CS-Model Pump.
GSP Pumps - Valero Refinery was initially adamant in its plans to install Flowserve Sealed Pumps. Flo-Line

HMD Kontro has developed a new generation of outer magnet rings
(OMR) for the CS Torque Ring Pump range. The upgrade offers increased
magnetic coupling strength. The enhanced OMRs will replace Alnico magnets
in CS1C, 1D, 2D, 2E, 3D, 3F, and 4F Models. Fully dimensionally interchange-
able, the new Samarian Cobalt-based OMRs have been engineered and
tested to perfectly replicate the performance of Alnico magnet OMRs.
