Notes de l'éditeur
[Introduction] – Pitcher introduces himself and says his name, name of the company, and the slogan. Talk about how there is no easy way to find a summer program and that there is nothing that puts all of the options that you have in one place.
- In comes the idea and the motivation to solve the problem
Landme is a website that aggregates these opportunities into an easy to use search engine. A student can filter programs based on subject, cost, time frame, location, and many other factors. By using Landme, a student can not only find the perfect summer program for them, but will save hours of time doing it.
Aside from helping students, Landme facilitates the recruiting process for summer program directors. Directors for these programs are always looking for students in under represented demographics. For instance, a research program at MIT may look for female Hispanic students from the west Coast. Through our student community and diverse user base, Landme can help these program directors target certain high school students.
