The Medal of Honor is the highest level of award that
someone can receive while enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces.
    It was signed and approved by Abraham Lincoln on July
                             12,1862.
There are 3 guidelines for receiving the Medal of Honor.
 a)The person must engage in action against an enemy of the
                               U.S.
b)Must engage in military operations involving conf lict with
                   an opposing foreign force.
   c)Person must be serving with friendly forces engaged in
  armed conf lict against an opposing armed force which the
                 U.S. is not a belligerent party.
 Was a Staff Sargaent in the Army during World War I.
 He was awarded the Medal of Honor on October 28,
  1944 for his brave actions on the battlefield.
 Lucian Adams and his company were stopped in their
  tracks at St. Die, France, in an effort to push through
  the Mortagne Forest. Adams went on the front lines
  with his BAR and while hip firing, saved his fellow
  troops and made it through safely.
 George Albee was a First Lieutenant in the Army
  during the Indian War Campaigns.
 Lieutenant Albee was awarded the Medal of Honor in
  1869 for what he did near the Brazos River in Texas.
 George Albee was with 2 other men. He and his group
  were attacked by 11 Native Americans. He took matters
  into his own hands and fought them off and advanced
  forward.
 Edward Baker Jr. was a Sargeant Major in the Army
  during the War with Spain.
 He was awarded at Santiago Cuba on July 1, 1898.
 Baker was under fire. He left his cover and recues a
  fellow Conrad from drowning.
