As an IT Staffing Firm, we love technology. But sometimes we end up with too much tech in our lives as we continue buying new products and newer models. What should you do with all your old and unused electronics? Recycle them! Bridge holds a biannual e-Waste Drive serving Rhode Islanders looking to do their part and protect the environment.
2. What is e-Waste?
o The accumulation of
discarded technological
products that people
throw out in the regular
trash.
o In many countries, it’s
the fastest growing
component of the
community solid waste
system.
3. Why is it Important to Recycle E-
Waste?
o Protects the Environment:
o Conserves natural
resources.
o Protects people and the
environment from harmful
toxins.
o Saves landfill space.
4. o Creates jobs for recyclers
and renovators.
o Creates new markets for
valuables that are
salvaged.
Why is it Important to Recycle e-
Waste?
5. Recycling e-Waste: a Win-Win
o You get the newest
technology after departing
