 Key Salient Features of our Dehumidifier
 Jay Jagannath Air Equipments dehumidifiers are the most energy efficient products in the industry.
 Flexibility in Design and Air Quantity selection - We design and Manufacture the Unit with Required
calculated capacity and Our unit model varies as per required calculated Air quantity i.e. If 2300 CFM is
calculated capacity of Unit then We provide unit with the same capacity but in case of other supplier's Unit
Fixed Model are there as they recommend 2500 CFM in place of 2300 CFM that puts extra burden on Utility
and Cost.
 Space Friendly : We provide Engineering / AHU cum Dehumidifier in Combo unit form hence saves a lot of
Floor Space Area in place using AHU and Dehumidifier separately .
 Blowers and Motor : Blowers and motors are used of standard Make (Made in Germany ) within
competitive cost.
 Efficient Dehumidifier Desiccant Rotor (Imported ) with Minimum Pressure Drop across and requires Steam
at low pressure at 3-5 kg/cm2 and with low regeneration Temperature around 90-100 Deg. C .
 Standard Filtration : We use only standard make Filters in AHU and Dehumidifiers always .
 Spare parts Availability : All the spare parts are readily available with us at Factory so we consume
less time to deliver the same .
 Electrical control panel which is of L&T/SIEMENS make.
 PLC is of Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi. Sensors are of Honeywell/Radix.All this adds to the efficiency of
the product.
 Our After sales Service is our salient feature , we offer after sales service without any extra labour /
service charge till the stipulated time and Our Service Engineer and Technicians are readily available
to provide you timely service.
 Our unit Panel are 43+/-2mm Puff Insulated Panel with pre coated inner and outer sheet.
 We are using puff panel for filter frame also.

 It Monitor Process RH & Temperature.
 It Monitor Regeneration Air Inlet Temperature.
 The instruments are simple to configure and use, while providing
tremendous versatility and a wealth of powerful features.
 Alarm indication by hooter.
 Working Principle
 The process air passes through 7 5% of the desiccant rotor surface with t he help of
suction or process blower, which produces Dry discharge air with low relative humidity. This
Dry is discharged to the AHU or moisture conditioned space. At the same time Heat is being
applied to the remaining 25% of rotor surface to reactivate the desiccant material. Resulting
wet air is discharged outside.
 Working Principle
 The process air passes through 50% of the desiccant rotor surface with t he help of suction or process blower, which
produces Dry discharge air with low relative umidity. This Dry is discharged to the AHU or moisture conditioned space. At the
same time Heat is being applied to the remaining 25% of rotor surface to reactivate the desiccant material. Resulting wet air is
discharged outside.
 This Cycle is implemented by Jay Jagannath Air Equipments.E.G. : Regen. air inlet temperature is coming at 70 C because the
rotor is itself heated.Now we have to took this regen. Air from 70 C to 140 C,so my T is 70 C in this case.In
conclusion the energy consumption is less as compared to previous cycle.
WORKING PRINCIPLE & BENEFIT OF ROTOR Used by M/s. Jay Jagannath Air Equipments :
Above Dehumidifier Rotor cycle is energy efficient cycle compare to other Manufacturers. In Above
picture we have mention total 3 parts of Rotor where 50% surface area of Rotor used to remove the
moisture of Return air from the area to maintain require Humidity in Area. Out of another 50% surface
area they divided in 2 parts as 25% of each area where 25% area in blue line is shown the indication
of wet air which have absorbed Moisture content from the Rotor, Another 25% surface area used to
pre heat & to Dehumidified Regeneration air of Dehumidifier.
Let’s assume the Ambient Condition as 30 Deg.C & 154 Gr/Lb. Ambient Air will pass through the 25%
Pre heat area of Regeneration so it will be around 60 - 70 Deg.c & 130 Gr/Lb before the Heater or
Steam coil. For the regeneration of Rotor we have to maintain Temperature between 120 Deg.C to
140 Deg.C. As per above cycle we are getting 60-70 Deg.c pre heated Regeneration air before Heater
or Steam Coil so we have to Increase only 50 to 70 Deg.C to Regenerate the Rotor for Maintaining of
Humidity in Area, which is very low Delta T Compare to other Regeneration cycle hence it is Energy
efficient Dehumidifier Cycle.
Another benefit of this Dehumidifier cycle is that it consume low amount of chilled water for Post
cooling coil because Maximum heat of Rotor was absorbed by Regeneration Air in Pre Heat Section of
Rotor so Process Air outlet will not be very much heated in this Dehumidifier cycle.
Below are some examples of energy efficiency :
1. Regeneration Air Heating Calculation @ 140 Deg.C in Normal Dehumidification Cycle :
Ambient Air Condition - 30 Deg.C & 154 Gr/Lb.
# - Formula – 1.08 x Reg. CFM x Delta T in Deg.Farenhit = Require KW For regeneration

= 20 KW (Delta T is 70 Deg.C)
(140 – 70(PreHeat) = 70 Deg.C)
Above calculation indicates that there is low energy requirement in Above Dehumidifier cycle.
As per our knowledge and practice, Total 25 to 30% energy saving in Regeneration air Heating
and Process air cooling.

 AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU) :
 Jay Jagannath Air Equipments double skin air handling unit (AHU) are designed to highest engineering standards for Indoor Air
Quality (IAQ) requirements according to ASHRAE standard 62 and meet the requirements of cooling, heating, ventilation,
dehumidification and air distribution to a conditioned space.
 Our AHU employs special extruded aluminum profile posts which break the thermal bridge, reinforced plastic triaxial angle
lug, flush fitting panels and doors.
 All panels and doors can be easily assembled and disassembled due to distinctive lockable device achieved by a steadfast PVC
strip.
 Filters can meet varying requirements due to a wide range of filtration classes with different materials, with removable
provision, which makes them easy to access for inspection and -cleaning.
 Water coil is manufactured from copper tubes with aluminum fins.
 Heat source can be hot water, electricity or steam.
 Dry Drain Pan design allows rapid and trouble-free drainage of condensate water.
 Powder coated galvanized steel filter frames.
 Pre and fine filter from 10 μ to 0.3 μ filtration.
 Airfoil blade Aluminum dampers suitable for actuator or manual operation.
 Wide range of models from 200 cmh to 85,000 cmh.
 Custom Built AHUs for special requirements apart from standard models.
 TEFC type, class B or F insulation and IP54 or IP55 protection Motor.
 Certified DIDW centrifugal or plug type Blower.

Air from 70 C to 140 C,so my T is 70 C in this case.In conclusion the energy consumption is less as compared to previous cycle.
  • 12. WORKING PRINCIPLE & BENEFIT OF ROTOR Used by M/s. Jay Jagannath Air Equipments : Above Dehumidifier Rotor cycle is energy efficient cycle compare to other Manufacturers. In Above picture we have mention total 3 parts of Rotor where 50% surface area of Rotor used to remove the moisture of Return air from the area to maintain require Humidity in Area. Out of another 50% surface area they divided in 2 parts as 25% of each area where 25% area in blue line is shown the indication of wet air which have absorbed Moisture content from the Rotor, Another 25% surface area used to pre heat & to Dehumidified Regeneration air of Dehumidifier. Let’s assume the Ambient Condition as 30 Deg.C & 154 Gr/Lb. Ambient Air will pass through the 25% Pre heat area of Regeneration so it will be around 60 - 70 Deg.c & 130 Gr/Lb before the Heater or Steam coil. For the regeneration of Rotor we have to maintain Temperature between 120 Deg.C to 140 Deg.C. As per above cycle we are getting 60-70 Deg.c pre heated Regeneration air before Heater or Steam Coil so we have to Increase only 50 to 70 Deg.C to Regenerate the Rotor for Maintaining of Humidity in Area, which is very low Delta T Compare to other Regeneration cycle hence it is Energy efficient Dehumidifier Cycle. Another benefit of this Dehumidifier cycle is that it consume low amount of chilled water for Post cooling coil because Maximum heat of Rotor was absorbed by Regeneration Air in Pre Heat Section of Rotor so Process Air outlet will not be very much heated in this Dehumidifier cycle. Below are some examples of energy efficiency : 1. Regeneration Air Heating Calculation @ 140 Deg.C in Normal Dehumidification Cycle : Ambient Air Condition - 30 Deg.C & 154 Gr/Lb. # - Formula – 1.08 x Reg. CFM x Delta T in Deg.Farenhit = Require KW For regeneration 3412 # - Energy Efficient Dehumidifier Cycle - – 1.08 x 400 x 158 3412 = 20 KW (Delta T is 70 Deg.C) (140 – 70(PreHeat) = 70 Deg.C) Above calculation indicates that there is low energy requirement in Above Dehumidifier cycle. As per our knowledge and practice, Total 25 to 30% energy saving in Regeneration air Heating and Process air cooling. # - Normal Dehumidifier Cycle - 1.08 x 400 x 230 = 29.12 KW (Delta T is 110Deg.C) 3412 (140 – 30(Ambient) = 110 Deg.C)
