To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this letter on behalf of Bruce Clair, a student who recently received an A in my
Legal Environment of Business course. The class involved studying the interrelationship
among law, ethics, and business. Main areas of coverage included the American legal
system, the role of government regulations, and how global issues affect business
decisions.
My impression of Bruce is overwhelming positive and if I summed up his academic
approach in one word, it would be “passionate.” He was a class discussion leader, whether
it was bringing in new cases to discuss or participating in the lesson of the day. In addition,
I observed the quality of Bruce’s work throughout the class. His thoughts have a logical
progression through the main ideas that he advocates.
I have spoken with Bruce several times outside of class. He is a pleasant person who
would fit well in any academic or professional environment. One quality I look for in a
student, intern, or an employee, is whether the person is not afraid to work hard or ask
difficult, probing questions. Bruce possesses these qualities. I fully recommend Bruce Clair
for any scholarship or position that he pursues. Please feel free to contact me at any time to
discuss the content of this letter.
Sincerely,
Perry Binder, J.D.
