Software Development for the Da Vinci Surgical System
FEATURED
PROJECTS
The Da Vinci Surgical System is a robotic surgical system made
by the American company Intuitive Surgical. The system is
commonly used for prostatectomies and increasingly for
cardiac valve repair and gynecologic surgical procedures all
over the world.
It relies on a human operator for all inputs; however, all
operations, including vision and motor functions, are
performed via remote human-computer interaction along with
the appropriate software. The current system is designed to
seamlessly replicate the movement of the surgeon's hands with
the tips of micro-instruments, rather than to make decisions or
move without the surgeon's direct input.
Businessware Technologies has developed a system to extend
the capabilities of advanced surgery robots: that is, the ability to
stream the video of surgery in real time, a surgery simulator
interface, even a scheduler and other administrative functions
based on C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
6. Contracts Management Application (CMA)
The CMA is an application that is designed for easy and powerful contracts management, mostly by
large enterprise companies with a wide network of various business units and departments in
different countries, including review, signature and approval.
The application facilitates easy access and various workflow setups using a roles-based approach. In
other words, its functionality implements all the steps involved in the contracts approval workflow,
including the electronic signing of documents. The front end is implemented as a standard ASP.Net
MVC 5 application.

7. Luggage Delivery System
The system is designed to allow airlines to log-in and track the delivery of baggage. It coordinates the
pickup, delivery and tracking of baggage by third-party delivery companies from airlines, as well as
provides the required access to delivery companies and their drivers.
Extensive reporting capabilities concerning delivery and accounting data are provided by Reporting
Services. A mobile scanner device helps drivers to identify baggage by scanning barcode labels and
sending status updates back to the system. The system provides airlines with the opportunity to
import baggage information via data feeds.
