This document summarizes three studies on older adults' use of and attitudes towards technology. Study 1 surveyed older adults and found they use entertainment technologies like TV for companionship and are open to learning information and communication technologies to stay connected. - We need a way of feeding back information we learn about the residents to the residents, to the residents. While building this internet connected device that addressed universal design constraints, why not help bridge the digital divide but giving access to additional services on the device, such as weather, smart home control, internet shopping or local news.
