The new Web Page Editor in CA PA 12.1 provides the features to more easily create engaging conceptual content in both online and document outputs.

Screenshot Overlay
This provides for the ability to export topic frames into PowerPoint where you can edit/overlay the screen images and then import them back into the topic editor. This can help with data masking, bulk screenshot editing and more flexibility in editing and annotating screenshots.

–Add shapes, callouts, and other elements using Microsoft PowerPoint.
–Duplicate elements across multiple frames.

Authors are now able to delete or cut and paste frames within the Topic Editor making maintaining content easier.

The print area can be defined to be more than the default action area so a larger area can be displayed in document outputs. This allows for a larger visual element to provide the end user with a better understanding of the content.

Allows you to Set default required mode for LMS and Knowledge Center for newly created content
Sets the Playback mode of a topic which determines completion in LMS and Knowledge Center

Assessment Question Limit (Question Pools)
Create assessments which present users with a specified number of questions, randomly selected from the questions available in the assessment. This feature extends the existing question and answer order options and helps to ensure users do not have identical assessments. Can use with pre and post assessments.

Apple iPad Improvements
Apple iPad has changed the way people work. CA PA 12.1 extends support for iPads to include touch-friendly player outline and Knowledge Center interfaces and all topic play modes. Additionally, CA PA content launched through Learning Management Systems (LMSs) is now supported on Apple iPad.
