– Project Pro-only SharePoint Sync
• Syncs tasks to SharePoint tasks list (Project Server
not needed).
– Save to SharePoint
• Project Pro saves to Project Server databases—our
focus today.
– Save to SharePoint Mode
• Tasks sent to Risks, Issues, Deliverables, etc. can be
linked to tasks in the Project file.

• Don’t delete any columns in any built-in lists in the
Microsoft Project site template
• Don’t make additional lists based on Issues, Risks,
or Deliverables templates in the same project site.
• Don’t delete project sites the “SharePoint way”.
• If you synchronize permissions to project sites,
alerts will be lost. To avoid, administer SharePoint
permissions yourself.
