diferenciação a
divisão celular está
acontecendo. O
processo de
formação de novos
neurônios
provavelmente
pára muito cedo e
não continua após
o nascimento. O
crescimento global
pré-natal do sistema nervoso continua após o nascimento,
A frequência de malformações congênitas do sistema nervoso central
(ou seja, cérebro e medula espinhal) é de 1:500 - 1:3.000 e mais
frequentemente afeta fetos do sexo feminino com malformações
congênitas da medula espinhal. Os defeitos do tubo neural são as
malformações congênitas mais comuns do sistema nervoso central.
fechamento envolve a placa neural, meninges, arcos vertebrais, tecidos
2. moles e epiderme. A espinha bífida, raquisquise e quanto à anencefalia e
crescimento adequada. A idade óssea é geralmente tardia, e a

The nervous and cardiovascular systems are the first systems of
4. functional organs during embryonic development. During the first month
of differentiation and cell division is happening.
The process of formation of new neurons probably stops too early and
not continuing after birth. Prenatal overall growth of the nervous system
continues after birth,
especially during the first
3 years of life. It is
characterized by the
growth of neurons as
well as glial cells and
myelination. The
frequency of congenital
malformations of the
central nervous system
(e.g., brain and spinal
cord) is 1:500: and
1:3.000 and is more often affects female fetuses. The congenital
malformations of the spinal cord: neural tube defects are the most
common congenital malformations of the central nervous system. There
is a failure of neural tube closure during the 1st trimester. The closure
involves the neural plate, meninges, vertebral arches, soft tissue and
skin. Spina bifida, rachischisis, anencephaly and encephalocele as the
brain are classified with neural tube defects. Neural tube defects can be
recognized through prenatal detection of high levels of (alpha fetus
proteins-AFP) in maternal blood. This test is routinely done at 16ª to 18ª
weeks (triple test). Elevation of AFP is seen in open defects discovered
by the skin. Prenatal diagnosis is also made by ultrasound examination.
Soon after birth, infants have relatively high levels of AFP, progressively
decreasing levels and reach adulthood at around 1 year of age.
Moreover, women with children who exhibit neural tube defects also
exhibit high levels of (alpha fetus proteins). The neural tube defects are
birth defects in the brain or spinal cord caused by folic acid deficiency
during pregnancy-AFP. These and other commitments eventually commit
5. infantile, juvenile, adolescent and even adults would be constant.
Normal growth, so is the result of several factors, such as nutrition,
genetics and hormones. The following are possible causes of growth
failure. Familial short stature: Children with this condition have parents
with idiopathic short stature however undetectable subtle flaws that
lead to short stature children inexplicably yet can occur. They have a
normal growth velocity and bone age is not delayed. They reach puberty
at a normal time and often complete growth with a low adult height.
Constitutional delay of growth: also called delayed puberty, children
with constitutional delay of growth have a normal weight, and linear
growth generally slowthe first
year of life. Since 3 years of age at
puberty, these children have an
adequate growth rate. Bone age is
usually delayed, and puberty is
also delayed. Delayed puberty
growth allows more pre-pubescent,
usually resulting in a
normal adult height. Typically,
children with constitutional delay
of growth does not show lack of
growth, but a period of low
growth rate that occurs during the
first year of life and just before puberty in general these factors are
liable to fix it possibly having GHD.
