Our alarm centre is ready to answer all kind of
medical related questions and guide clients
through the process. A large number of
cooperating doctors, clinics and hospitals all over
Greece and our knowledge of the Greek health
sector means we provide quality service to your

Patient monitoring and daily updates of medical reports
On a daily basis our doctors follow in- and out-patients and report
to the assistance or insurance company. Our role is that of a third eye
for the insurer to ensure the patient is getting appropriate treatment,
avoiding non-essential tests, and unnecessary prolong of
hospitalization.
Physician visits and/or medication
Through our network, we organize a physician or medication brought to a
patient’s address, no matter where or when, ensuring a patient gets the
care needed without unnecessary admission to a hospital.
Transport by ground ambulance
Across Greece, we have contracts with private
ambulance companies. Where an ambulance is
needed, we arrange for a fully equipped
ambulance, if necessary with medical staff.

For long distances and/or critically ill patients, an air ambulance with a
specialized medical team may be called for. For domestic flights from all
islands in Greece, we arrange for an air ambulance or helicopter to
evacuate the patient to a hospital or private clinic where high levels of
treatment are available.

commercial and charter flights
Our doctors and nurses accompany
patients who need assistance or
medical care during the flight.
Nursing care service
We provide nursing care for patients, who are hospitalized in public
hospitals, this is important because the level of nursing care is poor in
Greece.

TRAVEL TICKET SERVICE
CMS Assistance has access to updated airline
schedules and uses a network of travel
agencies to find seats on international and
domestic flights. During the season charter
flights may be available, as long as medical
equipment is not needed. Charter flights are
95% non-stop flights and up to five times less
expensive than scheduled flights.
Repatriation on charter flights substantially reduces cost. Some islands do
not have an airport or only one departure a day. In these cases, we
organize tickets for ferry connections.
TRANSLATION
Our comprehensive service includes translation of Greek medical reports
