Thank you for joining us and participating in this community
discussion.
The purpose of this meeting is to take public comments on
proposed service changes that will be effective on Monday,
May 2, 2016. No final decisions have been made.

MEETING POLICIES
Be considerate of meeting attendees and COTA staff – please

When it is your turn to make a comment or ask a question,

TEMPORARY STOP CHANGE: 6 MT VERNON & 92
JAMES/STELZER
Goal: Maintain access to VA Ambulatory Care Center during facility
construction at VA Ambulatory Care Center
Proposed Stop Change: Starting in April, Line 6 (Local) and Line 92
(Crosstown) will have a temporary stop location on the northeast side of
the hospital for approximately 8 months

CMAX CLEVELAND AVENUE BRT / ENHANCED BUS SERVICE
Goal: Provide rapid transit service along Cleveland Avenue, the second
busiest transit corridor in the system
Update:
• Congress has approved 80% grant funding of capital cost (approximately
$38 million in funding)
• Negotiating grant agreement with Federal Transit Administration
• Conducting real estate acquisitions
• Pre-construction outreach begins in March
• Implement service in September 2017
