- The recommended Clarkdale-based Core i3 and Pentium processors are priced at parity with the legacy processors. Core i5 processors are priced at a small premium to the legacy Core products. Why the premium? Better performance, Nehalem microarchitecture goodness, and specifically the presence if both Intel HT and Turbo Boost.
