This document discusses the Andalusian Agency for Healthcare Quality's program to evaluate mobile health apps. It aims to improve patient safety and empowerment. The agency developed recommendations for designing, using, and evaluating health apps. It also created an app certification program that involves app registration, self-assessment, and an evaluation process for obtaining a certification badge. The goal is to provide quality assurance for the growing number of health apps available.

Every month there are 500 new Apps

Is there anyone dedicated to check
the contents of these apps?
The NewEngland Center for
Investigative Reporting conducted a
study in 2012, it analyzed 1,500 Apps
and found that:
• More than 1 in 5 claimed they could
cure medical disorders
• Of those 331 therapeutic
applications, about 43% used their
own terminal devices or sounds to
make treatments
