What’s BPS
BPS companies provide services to companies who
decide to outsource or offshore
 Outsourcing occurs when a company uses third party
providers to perform services;
 Off-shoring occurs when these services are performed in a
foreign location.

 Base Incentive – paid for 3 yrs according
to scale
 Graduated Bonus – paid in years 3 and 5.

How much?
A three year incentive for each job created
 y/e March 2015 = R32 000
 y/e March 2016 = R24 000
 y/e March 2017 = R24 000
 y/e March 2018 = R16 000
Jobs created after March 2016 will not be
subsidised. (program ends)
