MARKET WRAP
Indian markets closed in red. Nifty, Sensex loses 2.27% & 2.05% respectively.
US markets closed in red. US Jobless claims at 385K. GBP indicators down.
Asia-Pacific markets remain cautious over weak US, EUR data. Nikkei gains.

Indian markets crashed this week over renewed speculations of early general elections,
followed by a dismal service PMI. On global front, BoJ has decided to take a bold step,
shocks with new base money target, boosts asset buying in order to inflate the
economy. US economy seems to be cooling little bit as suggested by its economic data.
ECB and BoE have maintained the status quo over its monetary policy stance. Nifty is
expected to be range bound and will move within the spread of 5400 to 5750 level.

India markets nosedived this week over uncertain political environment. SC gives
historical verdict over drugs patent; Novartis loses its case over Glivec patent. CCI gives
companies more room to change internal set up. M Damodaran panel to submit report
soon on India’s business climate. CCEA decides to deregulate sugar companies. Rahul
Gandhi's CII speech left political pundits chewing on their pencils, bemused. Nifty down
by 128 points to close at 5553. Whereas, Sensex down by 385 points to close at 18450.

World markets end low this week over below par economic data from US and Europe.
EU is still striving to get its feet settle down. European indices rang bell with CAC down
by 1.82%, DAX by -1.75% & FTSE by -2.53%. US markets too end in red with S&P
down by 1.01%, NASDAQ by -1.95% & DJIA by -0.09%. However, Asian markets
remain mixed with Hang-Seng down by 2.57%, Jakarta by -0.30%, Straits times by -
0.25%, KOSPI by -4.02%, while KLSE, Nikkei up by 1.15% & 3.64% respectively.
