Given the nature of our business (career consulting), Career Angels
wants and needs to understand how macroeconomic changes
actually influence the job market. We, therefore, record, process
and analyze e.g. unemployment levels or the number of published
job ads on LinkedIn. So far we have:

5. From the employer's perspective: more demand for
candidates = salaries and/or benefit packages go up.
The “post and pray” approach might not work. On
the other hand, more candidates, more choice, more
negotiation flexibility.
From the candidate's perspective: more demand =
"less effort" put into the job search (less time, more
space to negotiate salary).
