2. Analyze Learners
My 8th grade math class has 25
students, 13 girls and 12 boys; 2 African
American, 4 Hispanic, and 17
Caucasian. All of which have no learning
disabilities, speak English, and have an
understanding of pre-algebra.
3. Objective
Students will solve, interpret and graph
linear functions through games,
YouTube videos, booklets, desktop
publishing, social media, posters,
lecture, blogs digital imaging, Pinterest,
a WebQuest, Edmodo, and creation of a
robot within 5 days with 95% accuracy.
4. Daily Schedule
Day 1- Lecture, YouTube video, and
student created posters on identifying
parts of a linear equation.
Day 2- Desktop publishing, blogs, and
personal math booklets incorporated to
solve linear equations algebraically.
Day 3- Digital imaging, Pinterest, a
student created blog will demonstrate
grpahical representations of lines.
5. Daily Schedule
Day 4- WebQuest, Twitter, Facebook,
Snipping Tool, and Zello are
incorporated to interpret and solve real
life application problems.
Day 5- Edmodo, a graphing game, and
student created robots are utilized to
convey all concepts learned.
