Founded in 4 February 2004 by founders that gathered more than
10 years experience in wind energy consultancy
Renewable energy consultancy with focus in wind and solar
resource assessment
Portuguese leader in wind energy consultancy
MEGAJOULE SA’s capital is hold at 100% by UNIWATT, the personal
holding of its founders

MEGAJOULE’s management is guaranteed by its founders: Miguel

Measurement laboratory
MEGAJOULE’s laboratory assures the measuring activities
targeting to deliver to the client a service that, making use
of the best practices (IEC and MEASNET), enable to achieve
a high availability of valid data, as well as minimise the
uncertainty associated to the measurements.
The main services offered by the laboratory are:
• Planning, specification and conduction of measuring
campaigns
• Audits to measurement stations
• Measurement campaigns follow-up (data
processing, validation and results reporting)
