- 41. THE MEDITERRANEAN BASIN Is the whole land of Europe, Asia and Africa surrounding the Mediterranean Sea (sea between lands). It covers an approximate area of 2,500,000 km2. It is the cradle of many civilizations of the ancient West.
- 42. THE MEDITERRANEAN The Mediterranean Sea has been the scene of several geographical villages. The sea is the unifying element between them.
- 43. THE EXPANSION OF NEOLITHIC FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN Agriculture is originated in the Fertile Crescent, but was not an easy activity, which caused the movement of human groups in search of new lands and the expansion of this activity. 8.000 a.C.
