1. How to Play Capture the Flag
A Social Story

2. We start by separating into two equal
teams.
Don’t leave anyone out!

3. Then we divide the playing field into two
areas, each one belonging to a team.

4. Next, each team hides their flag in their
designated area.
Make sure no one from the other team
sees where you hide your flag.

5. Once the flags are hidden, the game
begins.

6. Now we go looking for the other team’s
flag to bring back to our area.
Run fast!

7. But if we get tagged by someone on the
other team in the process, we must go to
jail.

8. We can get freed from jail if someone from
our team tags us to let us out.
Now we can rejoin the game!

9. We must also defend our own flag by
tagging people from the other team who
come into our area.

10. The goal is to capture the other team’s flag
and bring it back to our area.

11. We win the game if we successfully capture
the other team’s flag and get back to our
area without getting tagged.
