the key challanges that Europe is facing.

Need to develop professionalism and European dimension of
youth work

Creation and development of the European networks

the programme

Overall the Programme will support
actions, cooperation and tools
consistent with the objectives of the
Europe 2020 Strategy and its
flagship initiatives, such as Youth
on the Move and the Agenda for
new skills and jobs. The
Programme will also contribute to
achieving the objectives of the
ET2020 Strategy, the European
Youth Strategy and of the EU
external action. Moreover, the
Programme will support policy
priorities agreed at European level
in the framework of the Open
Methods of Coordination.

  • 8. + The ERASMUS+ was created to tackle the key challanges that Europe is facing. What kind of challenges are those? a) Fighting the raising level of unemployment b) Related with development of the social capital of young people (their empowerment and ability to participate actively in society) c) Need to develop professionalism and European dimension of youth work d) Creation and development of the European networks e) All of those above

  • 10. + WHAT the programme wants to support Overall the Programme will support actions, cooperation and tools consistent with the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy and its flagship initiatives, such as Youth on the Move and the Agenda for new skills and jobs. The Programme will also contribute to achieving the objectives of the ET2020 Strategy, the European Youth Strategy and of the EU external action. Moreover, the Programme will support policy priorities agreed at European level in the framework of the Open Methods of Coordination.

  • 23. +  AGE OF PAX: 13 – 30 NUMBER OF PAX: min. 16 – max. 60 +group leaders  TECHNICALITIES DURATION: from 5 to 21 days  YOUTH EXCHANGES  Min. 4 participants per national group  Minimum number of partners: 2  You can organize as well preparatory visit.
  • 24. +   WHAT IS FUNDED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT – for food, accommodation, activities, local transport, cultural visits, materials and all other costs connected to the activity  YOUTH EXCHANGES TRAVEL COSTS – depending on how far you need to travel SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT – cost directly linked to participants with disabilities  EXEPTIONAL COSTS – if you need visa or vaccination, or if you host young people with fewer opportunities, or if you want to make the preparatory visit.
  • 25. + EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE what are they for? Opportunity to contribute to the daily life of the organization Opportinity to learn Possible themes: - Youth information - Personal and social development - Social care - Inclusion of disadvantaged - Environment - Culture and creativity - And much more…
  • 26. +  DURATION: from 2 to 12 months for youth with fewer opportunities of group EVS with min. 10 volunteers – from 2 weeks to 12 months   EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE TECHNICALITIES AGE OF PAX: 17 – 30 NUMBER OF PAX: max 30 volunteers for a whole project

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT - ¨pocket money¨  LINGUISTIC SUPPORT – only for the long term projects and volunteers who needs it.  WHAT IS FUNDED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT – for food, accommodation, activities, local transport, materials and all other costs connected to the activity  EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE TRAVEL COSTS – depending on how far you need to travel  +  SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT – cost directly linked to participants with disabilities  EXEPTIONAL COSTS – if you need visa, or vaccination, or if you host young people with fewer opportunities, and you need additional support [reinforced mentorship].
