A business firm has a large number of products in their inventory and some products are of high demand in the market. In this case, the business firm should always keep a limited number of stock for those products. But in this case, it isn’t always possible to track the stock of each and every product on a daily basis as there constitutes a large number of products under the business set up. Under the Odoo Reordering Rule, one can easily set minimum stock for the products. the minimum and maximum quantity level can be set for a product.

2. INTRODUCTION
● A firm dealing with large number of products and some of the products have high demand in the
market. The firm have to keep limited number of products in stock and it is not possible to check
the stock of each and every product on a daily basis. Such case we can manage it under the
Reordering Rule.

3. Lets see how to configure reordering rule:
Go to -> inventory -> Master Data -> Reordering Rule
Here one can Manage/create reordering Rule.

4. Before creating Reorder rule , Product must have at least one vendor and route.

5. Here, i chose buy as the route.

6. Create Reordering rule:
Set min and max quantity that has to be maintained in the inventory. you can also set quantity
multiple.

7. Trigger Run Scheduler to apply reordering rule: Go to -> Operations -> Run scheduler

8. An RFQ will be generated according to the reordering rule
